Away From Me

This is an old song of mine that deserved a better version. I recorded instruments 25- 26th of February 2025 and went to the countryside of Porvoo, Finland and filmed the music video 26th of February 2025. Lyrics: She was just another country girl who wanted to get away She escaped from her home and her parents still doesn't leave her alone. She came to town, of course she stumbled on me And after awhile she wanted to be free. Then she came across a lonely old fool, Yeah I guess she noticed him drool And suddenly being free Was just an excuse to get away from me. But that's alright with me, I have plenty of other things to see. People to meet, a whole life ahead of me. They are just wasting their lives away, 'cause they are the hippies of today. No purpose no direction, no aim no destination. Po-jama people are often selfish people, Talking all day with nothing to say. You think you're so deep when all you do is putting me to sleep. Yeah she came across a lonely old fool. Yeah I guess she noticed him drool and suddenly being free was just an excuse to get away from me. Music video: https://youtu.be/wujfkxKo7RY?si=RLqRew6TeWmJynqy
