As we know, Dry Eye Disease has been very difficult to diagnose due to its symptoms and many causes, it is estimated to impact at least 6.8% of the U.S. population. AXIM’s new MMP-9 test, which is the first rapid quantitative tear test for Matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), an inflammatory biomarker for Dry Eye Disease, is set to change the future of DED diagnostics.
