His Techno is highly influenced by Industrial and EBM alongside ethnic rhythms for the perfect combination of noise, percussion and contemporary elements. His darker and noisy style of Techno is a highly sought out sound and can be found on several labels (i.e. Advanced (Black), CZ Code, The Cast Project, Reloading Records, Switch Off, Aerotek, From 0-1, Webuildmachines, Rheostatus, SecreTechno, Grid Based Beats, Format Recordings, to name a few). AXKAN (meaning “now” or “the present”, in nahuatl (native Mexican tongue)), maintains his original and distinctive analog sound since the early 90's. To this day, he keeps morphing and expanding, adding more industrial and modular elements to his music. AXKAN has performed in most large cities in the United States and Mexico, but he also has had the opportunity to take his music to Canada, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Spain and Russia. Currently, Axkan has been a well-known name among fans, promoters, and veterans alike in the underground techno community performing his relentless live techno sets and archiving genuine and distinctive releases. His productions skills, now honed and battle tested, are ready to take things to the next level.
