Holding grievances is an attack on who we are, because grievances concern the body, and we are being asked to see ourselves as Love, not the body. The body is a “ship” of sorts in this dimension, and the “captain” of our ship directs its course. Are we directing it on the course of Love, or on the course of grievances and identification with the “body” as our “self?” This is a key lesson in removing our identification away from the “body.”
