Azán of the Voice

Azán recently married her high school sweetheart and biggest cheerleader, Isaiah, and growing up with a single mom has shaped Azán into becoming a strong independent woman. All through high school Azán performed as a high-stepper dancer, competing in dance and singing competitions. After graduating from the University of North Texas, she opened up with a dance group for the boy band B2K on their Millennium Tour when they came to Dallas. Now, Azán is in two cover bands that perform at weddings, galas, and corporate events. When she's not performing, Azán records vocals for high-level competition cheer music for colleges while doing whatever she can to support her music career.ABOUT THE VOICEThe four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast.
