On Sunday, Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said that the gunman had been in Buffalo — which is a three-hour, 200-mile drive from where he lives in Conklin, New York — for at least a day prior to the shooting. “It seems that he had come here to scope out the area, to do a little reconnaissance work … before he carried out his just evil, sickening act,” he told ABC News.
