B-Say - FKOFd042 [FKOF Promo]

from FatKidOnFire · host FatKidOnFire

PLEASE READ: www.fatkidonfire.com/label/fkofd042/ FKOF Promo! 2020 is FatKidOnFire's 10th birthday and we're excited to be kicking the year of #FKOF10 with the latest addition to the FKOF fam. It's another new artist to the roster, and it's the first British artist on either imprint since March 2019's 'FKOFd037' from the mighty @phossauk. 'FKOFd042' is available from the FKOFd Bandcamp and @junodownload next Friday, 14/02/20, and will be available from all good electronic retailers two weeks later. Hit the buy link attached to pre-order the release... 1. B-Say - Empire 2. B-Say - Fever 3. B-Say - Lost Control 4. B-Say - Richter 'Mike B-Say Bissett has been on the rise over the last few years with a smattering of releases on well-respected labels like Badman Studios, Instigate Recordings and Substantial Audio. He's also built a loyal fanbase with his bi-weekly radio show on the ever-impressive Subtle FM. We've been working with B-Say over the last twelve or so months (thanks for your tenacity, Mike!) to pull his FKOF Records debut together, and we're really excited to introduce you to his heavyweight FKOFd042. ''Empire' announces the four track EP with its suffocating lows and spiky synths, but it's the keys that really set this one apart. Power. Track two, 'Fever', is an infectious, rolling swell - continuing with the synths with a few sharp percs added for flavour. Things really warm up with 'Lost Control', which promises to do what its title suggests in the dance with its meditative bassline - remember the beats, bass and space recipe and you're good. B-Say clearly has with this one. We close out with 'Richter', which brings its punchy sub and smoky atmospheres for good measure. It's a well-rounded release and one, we think, does well to demonstrate why B-Say should be on the wider 140bpm radar. 'We've got a lot coming over the next year or so as we mark our first decade, and we're really pleased we get to mark the beginning of FKOF10 with these four tunes from B-Say. They've been doing damage since we got the masters back and we know they'll continue to do so. Big up B-say!' https://soundcloud.com/fatkidonfire/sets/fkofd @b_say http://fatkidonfire.com http://fkofd.bandcamp.com
