노량진 수산시장을 둘러싼 갈등이 좀처럼 풀릴 기미를 보이지 않고 있다. 시장 현대화 사업 이후 신축 건물 입주를 둘러싸고 기존 상인들과 수협 사이에서 격렬한 대립이 끊이지 않고 있다. 수협과 상인회 간의 대치는 지난해 말 신축시장 이전을 앞두고 시작됐다. 그렇게 5개월이 지난 2016년 4월. 현재의 노량진 수산시장은 구 시장과 현대화시장 ´두 집 살림´으로 나뉘어 격렬한 대립이 끊이지 않고 있다.
