Baby Driver
from talkabout: A Film Podcast · host Ellis & Gwilym
Send us Fan MailIn this week's episode we are joined by ANDY SHARPE to talkabout Edgar Wright's 2017 feature 'Baby Driver'. Full to the brim with car chases, killer tracks and larger than life characters, it's an underrated, under appreciated modern day classic. We discuss the ending of the film in all its ambiguity, tell eachother what our killer track would be and receive frequent reminders about seat belt safety from our guest. Though perhaps not as tightly choreographed, driving along to Bellbottoms does create a unique feeling. It's a feeling of anarchy and riot as you drive along (to the speed limit) feeling like the absolute business. Reverse bay parking to a bit of yodelling; taking the second exit at a roundabout to those opening stabs; though it maybe doesn't look as impressive, it feels amazing!Hosts - Ellis Barthorpe & Gwilym RobertsGuest - Andy SharpeMusic - James MilsomInstagram/TikTok/Twitter - @talkabout_podSupport the showFollow our Instagram here - https://www.instagram.com/talkabout_pod?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw==
