Bachhbaras kahani 01

By worshiping cow and calf, it is believed that one gets the blessings of Lord Krishna, the gods residing in the cow and the cow itself, which maintains happiness in the family. On this day women observe the fast of Bachh Baras. Married women observe this fast for the well-being of their son and for the well-being of their family. Cow and calf are worshipped. Mother cow is worshiped along with her calf. Mothers apply tilak to their sons and after breaking the talai, they offer laddus.
