Bachmeier Shines as BYU Dominates Arizona | Arizona Wildcats Football News

Bear Bachmeier shredded Arizona for 217 yards and all four touchdowns as BYU pulled off a 28-17 win, turning halftime deficit into dominant second-half defense that held the Wildcats scoreless. With key stops, three sacks on QB Noah Fifita (who also threw his third interception in nine games), and a clean game from Bachmeier—especially connecting with Kyler Kasper for two TDs—the Cougars racked up 365 yards without a turnover. LJ Martin added 98 rushing yards, inching closer to his first 100-yard game. This victory extends BYU’s six-game winning streak over Arizona, and they’re primed for another big one next Saturday against Colorado State.
