OK, we were just talking about the South Carolina GOP, right? I know a lot of people have issues. 01:27 the South Carolina GOP, and I can't say that those issues are completely unfounded because I've been seeing some, you know, strange things my own self, like who they actually support and more importantly, who they don't support. And when you get a group, and I just told you, we've got the 54 members of our state legislature, and this is just the House. 01:57 54 members of our state legislature in the House. 02:02 who have a Freedom Index score below 40. 40! 02:09 Gil Gatch has, he's 13. 02:14 He's got a freedom of score of 13. How is the Republican Party, who works so hard on that platform, you know, they get this platform, they say, listen, this is what we believe in, in the South Carolina GOP, and this is what we're looking for. And then when these people get into office, and all of a sudden, they don't do anything. 02:37 In the platform. 02:41 Yes. 02:44 Okay, we'll get to that in just a second. Get to that in just a second, JJ. um But when they don't support the GOP platform, then guess what? The GOP should not support them. Doesn't that make sense? That makes sense to me. So now in the primaries, if you've got an issue in the primaries, all right, the way it works now is... 03:13 If you've got a protest in the primary, that starts at the county party level. Anderson County, Greenville County, Spartanburg, the county party starts the protest process, okay? And then you have multiple layers of appeals, including the circuit court. Candidates have 26 days to gather evidence. 03:43 The winner has to wait until the challenges were resolved before actually taking office. Where there's a bill out there right now. It's called H 3556. 3556. 03:57 No longer do appeals start or protests start at the county level. Now they have to go straight to the state executive committee. And appeals can only go to the Supreme Court and only based on the party's hearing record. And protests must be heard within just 11 days. And declared winners can take office immediately even if the challenges are ongoing. 04:25 Who does that sound like they're trying to protect? Who does that sound like they're trying to protect? The incumbents, the incumbents. So I sit here and I go, good gracious. I want to see, let me just double check. Let me just double check here.
