You might think that God is cruel and unkind. The people completely rejected God’s plan for blessing and prosperity. The people had excluded God from their thoughts and from their worship. God called a warrior by the name of Gideon. God called a warrior who didn’t believe in himself. God called a warrior who suffered with fear and inferiority because God saw Gideon’s heart. Gideon’s family wasn’t great, but Gideon was faithful. God knew that he could talk to Gideon and that Gideon would follow through with God’s wises. God is looking for a mighty warrior. Mighty warriors are faithful. We must throw ourselves into our walk and relationship with God. Revival starts one person at a time. Our nation will get right, when I get right. D.
