The line between loving your country and worshiping it can be dangerously thin. While patriotism involves gratitude and service to your nation, Christian nationalism confuses God's kingdom with earthly power. Jesus rejected political dominance when Satan offered Him all worldly kingdoms, declaring instead that His kingdom is not of this world. Christian nationalism replaces Jesus with political leaders, distorts the gospel message, and damages the church's witness. God's kingdom includes people from every nation, tribe, and language - it's not owned by any political party or country.
