from Slim and Thick W.C. Podcast · host Slim and Thick W.C. Podcast
You may write me down in history With your bitter, twisted lies, You may trod me in the very dirt But still, like dust, I’ll rise. Does my sassiness upset you? Why are you beset with gloom? ’Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells Pumping in my living room. Just like moons and like suns, With the certainty of tides, Just like hopes springing high, Still, I’ll rise. - Maya Angelou (1928-2014), Still, I Rise The Slim and Thick Podcast is a space for those in the community. Join two black femmes as they unapologetically take up space to provide knowledge, resources, and dialogue on current important topics. From politics to Tik Tok, two sisters provide an inclusive space for community organizers and marginalized populations to gather for a moment in a space made for them. It's a labor of love from us to the community that we love to serve.
