Where the hell did the good ol’ days go? Maybe they never left. Maybe they never existed. Or maybe we’re all just really delusional. For the Season 2 finale, we’re taking a long, messy trip down memory lane from childhood bedrooms and third spaces to Y2K fever dreams, IP slop, doomscrolling, dying monocultures, overpriced cost of living, the media we swear used to sound, look, and was better, and a world that somehow feels more connected and disconnected at the exact same time. The past can be comforting. But maybe she can be a dirty little liar too. And somewhere between romanticizing what was and dreading what’s next, there’s still a present happening right in front of us. So our Nosy Question today is: How do we create something now that will actually be worth being nostalgic for?
