Backseat Driver (Suspense) Starring Fibber McGee and Molly!

A killer commandeers the car of a couple who are leaving the movies. This performance was recorded on January 19, 1955, after the smashing success of the first performance several years prior in February of 1949. Husband and wife Jim and Marian Jordan appear as their characters from Fibber McGee and Molly, who in turn play the roles of Joe and Ellie, a couple who become victims of a carjacking as the Hampshire Murderer is on the loose. Fibber McGee and Molly aired on Tuesday nights on NBC from 1935-1959. Backseat Driver also features Elliot Lewis and Sally Thorson with compositions by Lucien Moraweck.
