A patient arrives at the accident and emergency unit at the Royal Victoria Infirmary with a complaint of searing pain in his arm. He says that an NHS nurse had come to his home earlier that morning to administer a covid booster, and he had been in agony ever since. Medical staff speculate that a less experienced sub-contractor gave him the vaccine.
