She shares her intimate and painful experiences with bad boys, including suffering through kidnapping, domestic violence, emotional and financial abuse, and rape.Dr. Carole, author of Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them and When to Leave Them, guides Dina along in her story, and helps her to find the childhood roots of why she was attracted to these bad boys in the first place. Dina's dream is to empower women to prevent and overcome being victims of violence, exploitation and abuse. To that end, she has founded WAV&E, an acronym for Women Against Violence & Exploitation. Dina says, You can't stop the waves, but you can learnt surf!
