Bad Breath and Xylitol

This week we welcome back Dr. Pete from his wild vacation down in Mexico. Dr. Pete has some fun stories from his trip to start things off before we get into the nitty gritty. We talk about some new information regarding copper storage disease and what we think about the findings. We also talk about caring for your dogs teeth and dealing with bad breath. Turns out some toothpastes contain xylitol which can kill your dog. Xylitol is an artificial sweetener that’s harmless for humans but could cause major problems and even death for you dogs.
