Bad Mom- Shy Ann Hentges- Confession VideoDuring the early morning hours of April 5, 2017 in Isanti County, Minnesota, 24 year old Shy Ann Hentges made the choices that would ultimately end the life of her young son, Eli Gage Arispe Hentges. Later, around 10:50 a.m., Shy Ann made the 911 call about her son not breathing. Upon first responder arrival, it was determined Eli was deceased. Text messages were discovered of Shy Ann telling an unknown person she “was having second thoughts about keeping this kid”.Hentges gave several conflicting interviews to investigators describing the morning of his death in their apartment in Braham.An autopsy conducted by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s office revealed an 11-centimeter facial fracture, possible asphyxia due to unsafe sleeping conditions and bruises as well as two healing left-side rib fractures.
