The Big Idea: When you are tempted to hide your faith because it would cost you to be seen as a disciple of Jesus, that’s when it’s time to let it shine. When you are tempted to put your faith on display because it would benefit you to be seen and admired, that’s when it’s time to keep it between yourself and God. Jesus was hanged on a tree in public so that we can find both fame and privacy in the Father.
