Bad Theology 101 - God sends sickness

This week a Christian friend declared, "God has blessed me with deafness". However, Jesus declared that one of the indicators of the presence of the Kingdom of God was "the deaf hear". He never 'blessed' anyone with deafness - He only destroyed it!Frankly there is just a lot of bad theology out there - theology that attributes to God what the Bible attributes to the kingdom of darkness.
