Badgers 2026: Can They Break Through? | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

The Wisconsin Badgers’ 2026 season is shaping up as a make-or-break year for head coach Luke Fickell, with a projected six-and-a-half-win campaign and a bowl game as the ultimate goal. Facing heavy underdog status against Notre Dame at Lambeau, they’ll lean on early wins over Western Illinois and Eastern Michigan before tackling Big Ten toughies like Penn State. With over thirty new transfers reshaping the roster and a bigger budget adding pressure, consistency will be key. A brutal stretch against UCLA, USC, and Iowa looms, while wins over Michigan State, Rutgers, Maryland, and Purdue could seal bowl eligibility. Can this young, rebuilding squad avoid past pitfalls and deliver enough clutch performances to crack the postseason?
