Badgers Can't Afford to Lose These 5 | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

The Wisconsin Badgers’ offensive line is in crisis mode without two key starters—Kevin Heywood (ACL recovery) and Emerson Mandell (post-surgery rehab)—leaving them dangerously thin at right tackle and right guard. With P.J. Wilkins still unproven at left tackle and Austin Kawecki bringing stability at center, the team’s depth is razor-thin. Colin Cubberly is stepping up at left guard, but the real concern lies in the lack of backups across the board, especially at tackle, where underclassmen are the only options. The Badgers can’t afford to lose any of their starting five—each position is critical, and the margin for error is shrinking fast.
