Badgers Eye Win Against FCS Underdog | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Wisconsin’s got a golden chance to bounce back after a brutal 28-point loss to Notre Dame, facing FCS opponent Western Illinois — who just got crushed themselves by Illinois State — in a must-win “get-right” game at Camp Randall. With a 45-point favorite line and a historic 3-0 record against Western Illinois, the Badgers are primed for a statement win that could extend their 29-game home non-conference opening streak since 1995. Coach Fickell’s also 1-0 against FCS teams. The real intrigue? How will Wisconsin attack? Will they lean into the run to get their offense humming, or go balanced against a team that’s clearly no match? Kickoff: 6:15 PM CT on the Big Ten Network.
