Badgers Face Notre Dame With OL Woes | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Wisconsin Badgers face a tough opener at Lambeau Field against loaded Notre Dame, but their offensive line could be missing key starters Kevin Heywood and Emerson Mandell—both game-time decisions after injury setbacks. Heywood, a highly-touted recruit sidelined last season, and Mandell, who stepped in and started 11 games before shifting back to right guard, are crucial to the Badgers’ success. With depth issues persisting, backups Blake Cherry and Barrett Nelson may step up if needed. The Badgers need their best play from day one to tackle a top-tier opponent.
