Badgers Injury Woes Ahead of Notre Dame | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Wisconsin Badgers face a shaky Week One start as key players—offensive linemen Kevin Heywood and Emerson Mandell, plus wideout Jaylon Domingeaux—are all injury doubts. Domingeaux’s absence could shift reps to other receivers, while OL injuries threaten the team’s ability to run the ball against Notre Dame’s tough defense. With no official depth chart or injury report yet (disclosure isn’t required until two hours before kickoff), fans are left guessing. If Heywood sits, Lucas Simmons-Johansson steps in at right tackle; if Mandell’s out, Stylz Blackmon takes over at right guard. The Badgers’ hopes for a strong opener hinge on these critical positions staying healthy—Sunday’s game will reveal whether they’re ready to compete.
