Badgers OL Crisis Looms | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

The Wisconsin Badgers’ offensive line is in serious trouble as the season opener nears, with both starting right tackle Kevin Heywood and right guard Emerson Mandell sidelined. Heywood’s lower body injury keeps him day-to-day, while Mandell, recovering from spring foot surgery, remains sidelined despite fall camp being halfway over. Coach Luke Fickell is taking a cautious approach, hoping Heywood can ramp up next week but not rushing his return. Mandell’s timeline looks even longer, forcing the team to scramble—Arkansas transfer Blake Cherry is reportedly stepping in at right guard. With just ten days until kickoff, the Badgers are racing to fix their shaky line before the season starts. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
