Badgers Seek First Win Against FCS Team | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Wisconsin Badgers aim for their first win of the season this Saturday night against FCS opponent Western Illinois at Camp Randall Stadium—after a tough 41-13 loss to Notre Dame. They kept it close in that game, trailing just three points at halftime and scoring one touchdown on a 28-yard pass. The offense struggled rushing, gaining only 67 yards. Western Illinois, also coming off a lopsided 41-10 loss to Illinois State, is looking to rebound too. Wisconsin holds a strong historical edge over Western Illinois, having won both previous matchups since 2014. Kickoff is set for 7:15 PM ET on the Big Ten Network—perfect timing for the Badgers to turn things around and build momentum early.
