Badgers vs Notre Dame at Lambeau | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Lambeau Field returns to college football glory this Sunday as the Wisconsin Badgers take on fifth-ranked Notre Dame in a historic Shamrock Series showdown — the first such game at the iconic stadium in ten years. Originally slated for 2020, this matchup was delayed by the pandemic and finally realized after a previous clash at Soldier Field ended in Notre Dame’s emphatic win. With Wisconsin unranked and coming off a dismal 4-8 season, they’re heavy underdogs — more than 20 points behind Notre Dame, who finished 10-2 and narrowly missed the College Football Playoff. The game, airing at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC, is part of a doubleheader featuring Washington State vs. Washington earlier in the day. For Wisconsin, it’s a rare prime-time stage — their only Saturday game this season — offering a chance to shock the nation before returning to their regular Saturday schedule.
