Baer and O.D. Brundage help preview the La Crosse Community Theatre's Big Bad Musical

Brothers O.D. and Baer Brundage stopped in the WIZM studio Tuesday to help preview this weekend's Big Bad Musical — the sequel to the Three Little Pigs. It's part of the La Crosse Community Theatre's Penguin Project, which pairs kids with disabilities and other kids in these productions, where together they learn their lines, movements and how to have fun being on stage.  Now, the Big Bad Musical maybe isn't quite a sequel to the Three Little Pigs, as O.D. and Baer inform us. The two take us through a lot of twists to the show, how they're working with their partners, Ziyare and Aaron, to learn lines or just improvise and what it's like to be part of the Penguin Project.  The musical takes place at 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts in downtown La Crosse.  Erik Vose is the La Crosse Community Theatre's executive director. Last week he joined La Crosse Talk to discuss how the Penguin Project lost its federal funding without warning (listen here) and how its followers put the "community" in community theatre with donations to keep the show alive and keep these kids interacting and learning.
