Banken und Versicherungen müssen ihre Leistungen an die zunehmenden Wetterextreme anpassen. Das erklärte der Präsident der Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin), Mark Branson: "Das Wetter wird immer extremer und das kann viel auslösen, auch finanziellen Schaden mit sich bringen für Banken oder Versicherungen. Das ist einigermaßen ein neuer Risikotreiber im Vergleich zu den vergangenen Jahrzehnten."
