BAFTA Nominations Revealed | CAPCOM / Do We Overhype, Um, Hype?

On this weeks podcast the team are thin on the ground as Rossko, Josh and Yogdog take on the weeks news whilst the rest of the team are taken over my Cordoceps.We tear through the BAFTA Game Nominations and choose our winners from every category along with choosing our pie in the sky announcements from this weeks Capcom Direct. Yogdog also fills us in on the very interesting Paradox Direct which showcased some of their latest titles including Cities Skylines 2, DLC for Crusader Kings III and much, much more.Our main topic though is hype. Do we get sucked in? Should we fall for hype? Is hype...dare we say...overhyped? We discuss. So far it's been a mixed bag in regards to games we've been excited for which ultimately disappointed us but we've also had games we were excited for that really delivered, but what is hype? There's a fair amount to discuss so we get into it as best we can.Of course we also have game of the week and Yogdog has been Mechin' his way through Phantom Brigade, Josh has jumped into Obscure Tales's Lamentum while Rossko has been somewhat disappointed by Destiny 2's latest DLC, Lightfall.Oh, and we recommend candles.
