Bafta Special Pt 1: The Two Popes & Dolemite is my Name

from 10/10 (Would Recommend) · host Netflix

In this first of our two-part BAFTA special, Dotty had the pleasure of sitting down with the people behind the multi awards nominated  'The Two Popes'  - Pope Francis himself, Jonathan Pryce was there along with writer Antony McCarten, producer Tracey Seaward and director Fernando Meirelles. Aside from some tantalising glimpses behind the scenes of one of the greatest films of the year - they discuss the Vatican's reaction to the film and of course - what they watch on Netflix. Jamie East also had the honour of grabbing a few precious minutes with Costume design legend Ruth Carter. She is the brains behind some of the most incredible clothes you've seen on screen - from her relationship with Spike Lee, through Black Panther, to pimping up Eddie Murphy for Dolemite is My Name. Other Netlfix shows discussed in this episode: The End of the F***ing World  Call My Agent Before the Flood The Crown The Laundromat We hope you enjoyed listening. if you have anything you'd like to ask or say, please drop us a line over on twitter - our handle is @NetflixUK
