Baftas/Oscars 2021, Palm Springs, Zack Snyder's Justice League & more!

It's awards time again and despite cinemas being closed, we've managed to catch some of the nominees and winners of this years most prestiguous ceremonies, including Riz Ahmed's star turn in Sound of Metal and the outrageously dark Promising Young Woman. Also worthy of mention outside the torrent of awards contenders finding their way onto the various streaming platform is Andy Samberg starring Palm Springs, which puts a unique spin on the suitably popular time loop genre, which couldn't be more appropriate for the times we've found ourselves in lately. And finally, spoilers at the ready for the ten ton 4 hour elephant in the room that is Zack Snyder's Justice League, which couldn't be a more appropriate monument to the last couple of years. I don't know when else we would have found the time to watch it!
