First, The plaintiff paid to bail her former roommate out of jail. Unfortunately, the plaintiff says the defendant hasn’t paid her back, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant insists she never asked the plaintiff to bail her out. The defendant is countersuing for emotional distress. Then, The plaintiff says the defendant, her ex-boyfriend, cheated on her while she was pregnant with his child. The plaintiff is suing her ex because she claims he moved in with her but failed to pay rent. The defendant insists they were never together, and he didn’t agree to pay rent. Plus, The plaintiff met the defendant while they were both in jail, and they became best friends. The plaintiff agreed to put the defendant’s car under her name as long she made the payments, but the defendant stopped paying, so the plaintiff is suing.
