Baker Mayfield Contract: Why the Bucs Are Wrong to Wait
from Simms Complete Hosted by Matt Simms
Matt Simms makes the case that the Buccaneers are dragging their feet on paying Baker Mayfield and should lock him up before the market moves further. He breaks down the running back logjam forming around Jonathan Taylor, Bijan Robinson, and Jahmyr Gibbs, predicting Taylor signs first while Gibbs and Robinson reset the position on the strength of their receiving work. He also covers Atlanta's crowded QB room under new head coach Kevin Stefanski, Kyler Murray's fresh start in Minnesota, and Aaron Rodgers' comments about wanting to play more under center in Pittsburgh.
