Bakersfield Standoff & House Passed A War Powers Resolution

Police and the FBI responded to a serious incident in downtown Bakersfield involving a bomb threat and hostages. Law enforcement (including the FBI) responded. The situation ended when the suspect was killed by FBI agents. All hostages were rescued safely.  The U.S. House of Representatives passed a war powers resolution aimed at forcing President Donald Trump to end U.S. military involvement in the Iran conflict.
