Balanced Ministry

This week, Bishop Rodgers teaches on the second gift, serving/ministry, in this message entitled, "Balanced Ministry" from Romans 12:7. The words serving or ministry is diakonia in the Greek, meaning "to wait on tables”. It describes a person who serves and ministers in a wide variety of common labors and in the most practical way, both physically and spiritually. It is vital we balance both worship and work. In Luke 10:38-42, we see the story of Martha and Mary and how attitudes can arise if we are not properly balanced.
