#BaleIsBack

from Last Word On Spurs · host Last Word On Spurs

The whole of the Last Word On Spurs panel returned for a very special show as Tottenham Hotspur signed Gareth Bale, seven years after his departure and announced the signing of team-mate Sergio Reguilón from Real Madrid. Bale originally joined Tottenham as a 17-year-old from Southampton in 2007 for an initial payment of £5m. Bale has also won two La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, three Uefa Super Cups and three Club World Cups with Real. He remains the most expensive British player in history, as well as the top-scoring British player in La Liga - with 80 goals and 40 assists in 171 league appearances, averaging a goal or assist every 104 minutes. Tottenham have signed Spain defender Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid on a five-year contract. The 23-year-old came through the youth set-up at Real and made his first-team debut in October 2018. He was on loan at Sevilla last season and helped them win the Europa League as well as finish fourth in La Liga. Shortly after the news of the Reguilon deal, Tottenham announced Gareth Bale had completed his return to the club on a season-long loan from Real. #THFC #COYS #TOTTENHAM #HOTSPUR #TOTTENHAMHOTSPUR #SPURS #BALEISBACK #REGUILON Learn more about your ad choices.
