There’s a bill up for debate to ban TikTok. The notion is that since this is a Chinese owned company and the information gets filtered through their systems. Does this mean that our nation is having a security threat and that users are being manipulated? People use the app for entertainment, news, and to project themselves/ any businesses. Is TikTok different than other platforms cause it’s not US owned; do you all think we should ban or allow it to stay? As adults, they are accountable for their actions, how do we protect the kids. Do we use parental restrictions or is government intervention warranted? If you do not agree with government actions and interventions, then it is up to the people to vote in higher quality representatives. Parties group people and may cause a rift in decision making and progress. Individuality is important and may be difficult to maintain in politics.
