B&S Movies - In-Laws - Mark Schowalter and Jeff Grayson

This week we bring long-time friends Jeff Grayson and Mark Schowalter back together to help us review the 1979 comedy classic The In-Laws, starring Alan Arkin and Peter Falk. Mark shares why the film is his ultimate "desert island" movie, and we dive into the wild plot following a mild-mannered dentist and an unpredictable CIA agent brought together by their children's upcoming wedding. Along the way, we highlight the brilliant comedic chemistry and improv between Arkin and Falk—including the iconic "serpentine" running scene—while exploring Peter Falk's Columbo legacy and Alan Arkin's Second City roots. We also share fun trivia, like the backstory or Peter Falk being offered a role in The Godfather. All that and much, much more! Enjoy!
