The Banff Hotel is nestled high in the Canadian Rockies. It was originally built in 1862 as a 100 room hotel. Over the years the hotel has seen many changes including completing removing the original hotel from the location. The hotel even closed for 3 years during WW2. This hotel now boasts over 700 rooms, 12 restaurants, and many other amenities. This hotel is so nice that it is reported that some people have never left the hotel.
