Youth and high school sports play a vital role in childhood development and for communities as a whole. We bring on Andrew Caudill, the athletic director at Altoona, to give us a status update on the place sports hold not only at his school but the area. The impact of “travel sports” culture. Counseling parents and kids on setting goals and realistic expectations. The positive trend schools are seeing in terms of participation numbers. Recruiting and maintain qualitycoaches/officials and more.
