As the Messiah King, Jesus claims universal Lordship and offers comprehensive salvation. He rescues people from bondage, both material and psychological. He heals wounds, both physical and spiritual. He reconciles, both horizontally (in our relationships with one another) and vertically (in our relationship with God).
