Baptism as a Means to Grow in Grace

How does baptism serve as a means of our growth in grace? Because baptism is the objective declaration from God that our conscience has been cleansed by the blood of Christ. And a clean conscience is the basis upon which we live and are free to serve the living God without fear. Baptism then is a a powerful means of ongoing sanctification, ultimately empowering believers to grow in grace and knowledge of Christ.
