BARBARA ANN MOJICA, an author, educator, historian, and parent from New York, will join us to provide the tools to inspire, educate, and entertain youth. We will will also discuss her book series, "Little Miss HISTORY Travels To ...". FROM HER WEBSITE: "Barbara Ann Mojica received her Bachelor of Arts (Hunter College) and Master of Arts Degrees (Queens College) in History. She also holds graduate certifications in school supervision and administration. Barbara has been a life long educator in the fields of early childhood and special education, having spent many years as a teacher, principal, and school district administrator. Retirement has brought with it the opportunity to return to her love of history. ​She wrote “Forest Park, Queens, Past, Present and Future” for The Municipal Engineers Journal in 2001. Barbara currently writes historical articles under her banner “Passages” for The Columbia Insider, and is writing her own award-winning children’s book series Little Miss HISTORY Travels to.
