Barbara D'Amora is the mother of 3 children. Her son Nick passed away at age 25 from a grand mal seizure. Nick was a remarkable young man who learned how to communicate using letterboards, and helped others do the same. Tune in to learn about how Barbara has worked tirelessly to establish Nick's legacy. She has 2 non-profit organizations, one of which was founded by Nick and his friends. The Grace Foundation and Crimson Rise, located in Staten Island, NY have many activities for individuals with Autism. Nick's live of cooking is being celebrated by the development of kitchens for teaching culinary skills. Pn November 17th, 2024, a fundraiser run is being held in Nick's honor. www.CrimsonRise.org
