Barbara Hugo, Electric River Productions Owner and Local Volunteer, Dies at 78

Barbara Hugo, a long-time resident of Rhinebeck, died at home on May 23, 2026. Born on November 6, 1947, in Portland, Maine, Barbara was the daughter of the late Harmon and Mary (Berkofsky) Hugo. Her education included an MBA from Duke University. Barbara will be remembered for her compassion, independent spirit, and lifelong dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
